Sriranjani Raghavan, Marketing Director
Sriranjani Raghavan, fondly known as Ranj, is the Marketing Director of BDTC. She has taught and performed a South Indian Classical Dance form – Bharathanatyam for over 10 years. She started her training at the age of 3 under the guidance of her mother and Guru Smt. Mythili Raghavan. As part of the Academy of Indian Dances, a Bharathanatyam school she and her mother own, she toured and performed extensively throughout Africa, Asia and the U.S. She currently also trains, teaches and performs with Kalanjali Dances of India here in the Bay Area. To gain a firm foundation in Business, Ranj decided to get an MBA focusing on Marketing. This enabled her to leverage her creative background coupled with strong Business fundamentals to grow the dance school.
Ranj’s passion for the arts and her belief in a structured training program, drew her instantly to this position at BDTC. Since joining the BDTC team, she is continually inspired by the various achievements of each team member, including the two sophisticated cats and two little puppies! She is currently enrolled in the Teachers Training Program at BDTC and loves every minute of it!
