Diane Jarmolow

Diane Jarmolow is a pioneer in the field of ballroom dancing. Diane’s passion is helping people have the resources they need to become outstanding professionals and dance studio owners.

She founded and operated San Francisco’s enormously successful Metronome Ballroom. She is also the founder of Ballroom Dance Teachers College, the first-ever vocational school for training ballroom dance teachers. Her program, Ballroom Dance Teachers College In-a-Box is being presented in over 60 studios and universities throughout the United States, Canada, India, the Caribbean and Argentina.

Diane is the author of Teach Like a Pro: The Ultimate Guide for Ballroom Dance Instructors, a book for both new and experience dance teachers. She co-created the Move Like a Champion training, book and DVD for professionals and avid ballroom dancers, giving a new understanding of dance movement based on functional anatomy. She is also the creator of the remarkable Salesfree Sales workshops designed for dance teachers to build authentic, long-term relationships with their students.

Additionally, Diane is the creator of DVIDA’s innovative system of professional certification and author of DVIDA® manuals. She is a National Examiner with DVIDA® who administers professional certification exams in-person and via Skype.

Diane offers individual and group dance and certification coaching, studio business consulting, and DanceSport adjudication. She is also available for hire to teach seminars and workshops at your studio or event.
