Abundant street parking is available near Metronome in the evenings and on weekends. Our friendly Guardian Angels (security) patrol the neighborhood and are available to escort you to your car every night of the week.

Traveling by Public Transit

Bus

From the East Bay

  1. If you are coming from the East Bay, you can take whichever Transbay Bus serves your neighborhood. In San Francisco, exit the bus at the Transbay Terminal at 1st and Mission. Walk out the front entrance of the terminal to Mission Street.
  2. Catch the MUNI bus number 14 heading to your left (away from Mission). Be sure to keep your transfer.
  3. Exit at 8th Street. Turn Left, crossing both Mission and Eighth Streets, Catch the MUNI bus number 19, and show the driver your transfer.
  4. Exit at 17th and Rhode Island. Turn Left onto 17th Street.
  5. Metronome Dance Center will be on your left near the end of the block.

Within San Francisco

Metronome Dance Center is serviced by the following MUNI bus lines:

#10 Townsend
#22 Fillmore and
#19 Polk

BART

  1. Take BART to Civic Center Station. Exit onto Eighth Street.
  2. Walk 1 block South (the only way you can go) on Eighth to Mission. Catch the MUNI bus number 19. Exit at 17th and Rhode Island.
  3. Turn Left onto 17th Street. Metronome Dance Center will be on your left near the end of the block.
